If you get blown up, you won't die, but the dream ends instead. A message will be displayed when loaded successfully after running the command. A few seconds later, a white humanoid walking on his feet and hands with red eyes will charge at the player really quickly, and after the player gets hit, the nightmare ends. You look up, and see an Ender Dragon with glowing(like herobrine's) eyes. After each Nightmare, the player wakes up with nausea and slowness for 20 seconds. Though there is no way for a player to keep track of it in-game without modding, there is a a counter of "nightmare points" for each player, used to determine the likelyhood a nightmare will occur. You then get up, and go outside. Once you go to sleep (not doing anything that prevents nightmares before) you will "Wake up", go to a random spot by your house, and start to dig straight down.

You here sounds of glass shatter, the sounds get louder, you hear a heart beat fast, and some sort of screeching and then a loud scream. Then everything goes silent. You pull out your water bucket, as you want to take no fall damage.

Some nightmares do not occur in multiplayer. If you attempt to go into the darkness, you will die instantly. After this nightmare, it will still be night-time, if in singleplayer. Now, to the actual nightmare.

Later, the blocks will get a hellish texture. You die instantly. You find the sky dark, clouds gone, TNT raining, and an Enderdragon spawning.

It automatically puts you in 3rd person mode to see your skin switching between other default skins.. (for example: Steve, Alex, Zombie, Chicken, Pig, etc). You have a water bucket on you; but you cannot pull it out fast enough to block the fall damage. The dream will continue until the player either kills every dinocerous or is killed themselves.

Then, eventually, you wake up at 6:30 in the morning. It wasn’t peaceful mode though. You might be able to harm other Players by hurting mobs, which move mirroring the player, but if you are in a safe-zone, you will not be able to do this. When you awaken in your bed, this will only happen if its night-time, your player's screen will get red instead of blue while sleeping, and you cannot leave your bed when this occurs.

The player has a limited map to move around on (to prevent lag from the TNT) and thus you will eventually be killed. The Nightmare monster is a physical representation of the nightmare that the player experiences in their sleep. You try to get out of the cobweb, then it fails. All the blocks around you start to disappear again and you fall into the endless void again... you now really wake up. The pet will twist his head or will look at the player. If you added the datapack after the world generation, please run /reload command. He only has food in his hand. You can both add it before or after world generation. Once you go to sleep, it starts off slightly wholesome, starting with you cutting a tree nearby, feeding your dog, and going on a mining adventure. This creature is found in the Spirit World, but only when the player is experiencing a nightmare. The player is mining in a cave but you run out of torches, but you continue to mine anyway. After 10 seconds, the pet will cry asking for food. Then, you hear a scream, and look behind you. You touch the cobweb above lava, fearing for your life. Your pet dog and pet cat become hostile Endermen, and all mobs turn into them too, your house is gone and the Enderdragon egg hatches from your pocket, and then the dragon comes out as a baby, then instantly turns into a big one, and you die from the Endermen and dragon. The cave is always very close to the player's home, which is copied into the dream world based on where the player goes to sleep.
